It looks like my last local chance to see it will be in Oxford on Thursday but I don’t want to spend the evening there if it’s dreadful i.e. just a creepy guy terrorising (or worse) two defenceless young women for the sake of it. There’s some mention of it being ‘darkly funny’ and perhaps thought-provoking which might lift it out of the mire. I could check the reviews of course, but I don’t want to risk spoilers.
So I’d just like to know if it’s worth 2 hours of my life or not, plus travelling - Yes or No would do.
I won’t go unless I can see off the current miserable cold that’s got me laid up though, not least because it may have to be a pretty brisk walk back from Jeune Street to the station if I don’t want to miss the last train.
A long, long time ago I knew Hugh Grant, briefly and not very well.
