Thanks. I am currently working on my jazz drumming. It is certainly harder than what it seems. Some trad jazz drum patterns sound simple but getting the feel right is not so easy. Art Blakey’s parts on moanin are to die for. He holds back and lets the other instruments solo. Buddy Rich however is a completely diferent animal.
