Ha, not really. Sheās a lovely lady and weāll probably use them for a few bits, but itās mostly frozen Iceland food and Pukka pies, so they arenāt really competition.

Well windows arrived from the UK on Friday, so I was slowly assembling the various bits and pieces I needed for installation. Timetable brought forward by FoL2 smashing two of the windows in the lounge in the space of 5 minutes playing with a sodding bouncy ball. Didnāt even manage to break glass in the same frame, itās two completely different ones. So now itās all systems go. At least it wasnāt the front door, thatās a fucking huge unit to go in.

Other than that, builders are booked to come in April to do the roof of the main house, and also replace the septic tank. The current tank is probably 40 years old and really not fit for purpose. Plus half the waste water from the house doesnāt actually run into it.
In the mean time, I am mostly ripping up floors and continuing to tear out the room that will become the kitchen.

There was a certain amount of swearing that happened, thatās for sure. FoL1 isnāt normally too bad, itās FoL2 thatās the real handful on the destruction front.
