Better than I’ve felt in a long time.
As some of you will know, I came out of a long term relationship in early 2024 and set forth to live a life alone again. I fell into a pretty bad depression and poor mental health. I was off work twice for extended periods and ended up back on anti depressants.
However, as this year progressed things started to get better. The medication helped to lift my mental health out of the gutter, I started taking better care of my health and my social space. I saw more friends, got into more social music events and generally increased my social circle.
Started dating again recently and currently one month into a promising new partnership.
Life is starting to feel like life again, and less of a thing I have to suffer!

Another very good point.
The view of the manager that found no case to answer was that the process worked due to the evidence I bought with me.
The whole investigation was defective from the outset.
If a Return to Work interview had actually been carried out- in line with company policy and their Duty of Care- I would have had the opportunity to show them the video of the passenger making:
1)Spurious accusations
2)Telling me their Brother in Law wanted to see me
3)Confirming they called me a cunt earlier that day
4)Disruptive behaviour which along with the above were the reasons I refused them travel
Instead of that, CCTV was downloaded and the subsequent ‘investigation’ was biased and accusatory towards me!
I highlighted the accusations in the way to work this morning.
It is my belief that the company is taking every opportunity they can to build a case to dismiss me.
All I’ve done over the last eight fucking years is campaign for staff welfare facilities; covid security measures; highlight poor practices with defective vehicles- including a case where exhaust gas was entering the saloon…
Oh and a pollution incident from a company vehicle in a car park. That was reported to the Environment Agency.
These are all protected disclosures.
