Good luck Stu… and remember … Mr Kipling needs YOU!
Best of luck Stu and Donna.
Also his uncle Ben in Mexico
I mowed the lawn today, at least you can’t be asked/told/persuaded or directed to do that
I can
I’m posting the tweet rather than the direct FT link, because their paywall is weird as fuck and if you go via the tweet, you can read the article.
I realise it’s all so far below you payscale it’s laughable, but health care, retail, food production and farming are going nuts trying to recruit people left, right and centre at the mo - if you’ve got any up-to-date certification to drive stuff like forklifts or heavy plant for example, you should be able to get reasonably paid work to tide you over. Fucking DWP (or whatever it is nowadays) will fuck you around eternally or just fuck you off altogether…
Sounds like wishful thinking to me. We will soon see though as murca looks hell bent on keeping people out at work
I think it’s more “data” than wishful thinking. A widely available antibody test is going to be crucial.
On a different note, is there anyway to upload a video here from iOS without using YouTube or similar? I have a relevant educational snippet to share
Meanwhile…
They: They’re Out again today - e.g. whole group of family and friends all having a nice old walk along the river by us: kids, dogs, nan, pram, babe-in-arms, dog - leaving gates open and completely ignoring advice about proximity. Sam and I had go down the riverbank to get away from the thick cunts, then shut all the field gates they’d left open.
Hope COVIID-19 takes the whole fucking lot of simpering retards.
Had to nip out to the shops for some food and drop a parcel off - PO does both fortunately - no sign of life aside from all the fucking promenaders, and lenty of stock of everything except eggs, which is handy. No signs of plod anywhere. Full lockdown implementation on Thursday I believe.
Given that we’ve tested hardly anybody in the UK, postulating that 50% of us are carrying the infection with no symptoms, when no other country including South Korea which tested thousands think so, sounds less like data than wishful thinking to me.
It’d be lovely if they’re right… but it sounds odd no one else has that theory
Here’s the paper
On the brighter and more positive side of life, Katie Hopkins has been quiet.
That’s so far past my stats level and interest I’ll just stay home and cross my fingers for now
As I say, I hope they are right because if they’re not, we have a horrendous few weeks and months coming
Will wait for Olan to translate
Anyone know if private hospitals have stopped doing non-essential operations? The nhs is their usual backup isn’t it?
Aren’t they all now NHS facilities, they did a deal.
Hope so.
