Unsurprising that the government have finally realised (about 3 months too late) that mask wearing might be helpful. It probably should be mandatory in shops too.
We have to hope that the delay wasn’t simply because Sadiq Khan was recommending it for public transport a good while back & they couldn’t be seen to be doing anything he might suggest.
We’re not that different from Italy (and comparable population size?), unless I’m missing something?
We are in terms of coming out of lockdown. Have a read of Wolf’s article.
