Getting car serviced at dealers. Everyone wearing masks here thankfully.
With dealer service prices being daylight robbery, it’s pretty appropriate that they should wear the outfit.
First day back at work today after furlough (again) and my bosses last day of employment here…all very odd…
This is an interesting read. The impact of a stint in ICU stands out. We’re so used to seeing it in Casualty/Holby etc where most up and leave at the end of their time that reading about (basically) PTSD for survivors is shocking.
Agreed. 300 quids for a first service, which I don’t think amounts to more than an oil change, is rather a lot…
You know that discount you negotiated when you bought it?
They only loaned it to you!
I think that “it’s a major service this year” means they change the air filter as well?
I think you are being harsh. When my main stealer does the “main service” or the “big service” they squirt a bit of wd40 on the door hinges. If I am very lucky, they get some wd40 on the seats which provides hours of entertainment trying to get rid of it.
Correct. That’ll be five hundred pounds sir. Help yourself to a coffee and free use of the defibrilator.
Well it’s gone great.
Spent £2200 on flights between two families, then hoped the FCO travel advice would stay in place so we could get a refund.
But no, gov and Jet2 announce they are flying on our original dates so we are then stuck with the choice of either setting fire to £2200 or rearranging for another £800. We ended up rearranging for next year.
Then half an hour ago, the travel ban is back on.
DO NOT ask me for any lottery numbers, horoscopes etc.
CUNTS.
Ah crap…
It’s at times like these I’m pleased we don’t have valid passports.
Are the rearranged flights classed as a ‘new’ booking? Could you cancel under the distance selling reg’s?
Just clutching at straws, mate. Ones that you’ve probably plucked out already.
Booze. Lots of it, now.
Don’t understand. You’ve reorganised for next year and, err, you’re going next year?
I think I must have missed something.
OIC you could have got a refund for now.
CUNTS !!
Heh, I’ve just had to pay outstanding tax for several £k on my easyJet shares. Might as well have set fire to the money.
Still waiting for holiday refund - in the mean time there is always Paignton
Beautiful this time of year
