How good (or bad) is the DAC in a DEQX?

Given some ‘restrictions’ on room size and shape, I’m considering using some help t have things sound as good as possible.

There’s a DEQX PDC2.6P that could be available for a reasonable price… But even ‘reasonable’ requires some sacrifices on my part. If the DAC used in the DEQX is any good, then I needn’t (immediately) worry abut an external DAC…

Well without even hearing one, I would have no doubt in saying that they will be technically excellent and neutral. They’ll measure well.

Personally that’s kinda what I want in a DAC, character can come elsewhere, but YMMV.

Only thought that occurs is, is 2004’s EQ technology really worth stretching your finances over?
