At 0:59 there seem to be electrical sockets (230VAC in Aus ?) in the bathroom.
And when he swims up to her and she hands him the glass of wine a ghostly next door neighbour is peering over the fence.

They are Oz sockets & Oz is 230V AC afaik.
You can have 240v sockets in a UK bathroom.
Yes, provided they are 3m or more horizontally from the edge of Zone 1 https://electrical.theiet.org/wiring-matters/issues/53/section-701-locations-containing-a-bath-or-shower/. Zone 1 extends 1.2m from a fixed water outlet. TBH though I don’t know if any of these regs apply in Aus.
