Fols’ ginger tom, Django came in yesterday evening just as they were going to bed with a badly lacerated paw, streaming blood all over the place
They had to rush him to the emergency vet to have 350 quids worth of anaesthetic and stitches.
Recovering well this morning - banana and cone of shame doesn’t seem to have affected his appetite!
Get well soon Django!
Unusual Lynx variant!
I have never seen a lynx in the wild. That’s one on the bucket list
Heavy duty pusscats:
Today in cat names.
A message to the estate WhatsApp group saying “does anyone know this guy? It looks like he’s stuck up a tree and he seems quite distressed”
Immediate reply of “That’s Ker-ching! Belongs to xyz”
Rescued within minutes, but Ker-ching
Many, many years ago when I lived in Clapham (yeah, I know) I was in a convenience store on the High Street when I heard “Aqua! Aqua Libra! Come 'ere now”
Named by its vet.
I was in an Iceland in Tooting when I heard a heavily tattooed woman with a Croydon facelift shout at this angelic looking 5 year old “Oi, Chardonnay, Get your fuckin’ arse over here now!”
Only just down the road from Clapham, but worlds apart.
Late night listening to jazz wore him out?
Not last night as he was staying at his other Residence- oh how the other half lives!
He’s probably gonna put in a late session tonight though as I’m not going out!
Got back from work. Post work beer in garden. Both Lord Boots and Ginger Mk2 have joined me for a bit of R&R!
Making friends with Patches Mk2 at the moment. Lord Boots wasn’t keen, but Patches Mk2 ad Ginger are good friends.
He’s getting closer and more relaxed. He’s also trilling a lot…
