Hand forged from Shirogami #2 core steel and claded warikomi with his handmade wrought iron damscus that is water quenched to 63hrc. The damascus is his half twist or “river jump” pattern that flows in continuous pattern around the blade.

The skill of some Japanese knife makers is amazing.
Wondering if a few of the sharp knife guys could come to Lopwell (When it eventually happens) It would be great to get some large knives sharpened to terrifying standard. …May come in handy in deterring any 9 day prog jams from the communal turntable.
We could see if anyone had a knife that could slice a prog LP in half in mid air. Frisbee game as a service to music. With all debris to feed the fire.

Jesus Christ, I’ve just looked that knife up and seen the price! Fantastic workmanship for sure, but not sure I could ever justify it to myself, even if I could afford it. That’s not a judgment on how you spend your money Roger, btw, I’m not having a dig.

Apparently, if you inject the coke into your glans, you can last for ages and ages.
