Large room speakers reco please

I moved house last year and now have a bigger room - c.40m squared. I’m currently using the lovely Blumenhofer speakers bought from @chelseadave when he passed. The speakers work well (i use them with a sub) but I really want to get something a bit bigger to fill the room now. I have been looking at all sorts and have a few ideas but haven’t settled on anything especially. If anyone has any thoughts/ideas they’d be much appreciated.

My amp is a Vitus audio R101 mk2 so no lack of power but I would want speakers that are reasonably easy to drive and pass the WAF threshold. Budget isn’t really an issue if there’s something super-special, but let’s say 25K or under…

This is going to be a good thread given that maximum budget.

I crack up every time I see those pictures. I want to call pest control.

Aside from Avantgardes which are a great commercial option (though I’d be looking at newer ones), the MEH build that @SteadySteve has done looks very domestically viable and could really look the part with some suitable veneers.

Otherwise, Volti corner horns perhaps?

Amazing speakers.

Really love how these look and would love to hear a pair.

As much as you would get ribbed mercilessly, you should at least consider something like this.

Nice veneer, that.

The answer is horns, just depends on which ones.

I can heartily recommend Avantgarde Duo XD in WAF coloured horns . Volti’s above are very tempting too. Plenty of choice, a lot depends on how you like your bass and how oversized your wife will accept.

If you’re really desperate I can do you a great deal on a nice pair of jbls within your budget

There are the Everests that have been on ebay for a little while, although one of the photos does have a what appears to be a big REL in the background.

Or you could buy the Hornings with the rant letter to shut that bloke up for a while…
