One of judges and the judiciary but I am not sure which.

Oh dear, never mind.

Hope the police have ordered up more happy sticks, horses, and snappy hounds for Saturday.

Let’s hope they don’t take his bootlaces away. You know, so he can finally do something with dignity, obvs…

Sure was a lot of racists gathering outside Victoria :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Heading to parliament square I guess.

Does anyone know if the BBC has a policy of not covering demonstrations ? As far as I can tell there is literally zero coverage of the Robinson march (if that’s what it is) on their website at all. I drilled down to ‘London’ a few minutes ago (17:15 on the afternoon of the march, for future ref) and got this

I realise that compared with the rise (or not, if no-one turned up) of right-wing extremism, the Hallowe’en makeover of Kew Gardens and the appearance of loads of people cosplaying Pikachu are much more important. But all the same I’m curious to know why the state broadcaster has ignored it when there are quasi-live reports on at least some of the newspaper websites (Guardian, Independent, to name two).

I noticed that.

Can anyone of our local law enforcement folk tell me the difference between the guys in boiler suits with black (I assume) reinforced baseball caps and the one or two white caps in the team?

Are the latter leaders or officers maybe?

I saw several people having a very bad day with these teams. A key tactic looked like it was “there are seven of us and one of you”.

Boiler suit people are essentially riot police, armour under the boiler suit.
Baseball caps aren’t anything special, just headwear for when not wearing helmet.
Yes, white cap denotes supervisors.

I think some forces use white caps for spotters.

Thank you.

Yes, they did look very roomy :grinning:

Standard, reduce risk of injury to officers and get it dealt with quickly

Whilst serious 'Paedos’ get ‘suspended’ sentences…

Who?

Here we go again

[fewmin gammon has entered the chat]

Well that merits a custodial sentence for a start :grinning:
