Yes. The ‘journalist’ fawning over her and asking loaded questions using terms like ‘heat of the moment’ was fucking sick making.
I had a discussion about this with a friend of mine a couple of weeks back.
He was of the opinion that free speech is under threat and he used the above case as an example. He does agree that she is a vile person by the way!
My counter to the free speech was the following:
She is the wife of a local tory councillor* edited as I fucked up * A public figure. As such, it is reasonable for her to be held to higher standards.
She wasn’t like a keyboard warrior sitting in their underpants spouting random shit. She wrote vile things. And now there are more protests outside what should be safe spaces for refugees and asylum seekers.
She fucked off and found out.

Tory local councillor. From my experience these are usually either mild mannered well meaning but feckless, or local whackadoodles anxious for some kind of status/ validation.
The main thing about this awful woman is that it wasn’t just some isolated chardonnay fueled rant, but that she had repeatedly spewed quite nasty racist commentary with violent overtones on more than one occasion.
She had a choice post release to either wind her neck in or go large and try to play the martyr. She has chosen poorly, much to no-one’s surprise.

I managed three and a half minutes. In the interests of not self combusting, I gave up at that point.
The notion that she is an ordinary respectable housewife who did nothing wrong and has been victimised by an authoritarian state is risible.
The comparison with the Labour councillor is completely fallacious. He pled not guilty, was found to be innocent and was released. She pled guilty, was sentenced to imprisonment and has served her time. How can there be two tier justice in that scenario? It’s complete nonsense.
The days of the Telegraph being a serious newspaper have long since been consigned to history. They’re no more than PR apologists for racists and fascists.

Curious how the slightest support for ‘Palestine Action’ is classified as terrorism, but national media organisations like the Torygraph, Daily Hatemail, The Scum and Excess using their still-considerable reach to promote race hatred, lies and bigotry is all somehow perfectly acceptable…

Already happened. 2021. At work- engineers shithouse- reported to police as I recieved a dismissive response from employer. I’ll edit this post with a poster they put up in response later.
And in Purley on a post box and some other street furniture. To their credit, Croydon Council got straight back to me and the swastikas were removed in less than 24 hours.
First edit. I checked and it was 2021.

Nah, it’s the start of Poppymas in a couple of weeks, they’ll wait until that’s over and done with, then it’s “It’s illegal to celebrate Christmas these days” season, so probably the new year before they can show their true colours.
