Well they daren’t introduce one for human generated slop…

Biffa use Verint Kana so your email got converted to an XML and then imported into the CRM

short answer, put your address in the email body not the subject line otherwise it can’t be extracted

I guess that means ‘put everything into the e-mail body’ because they’ve chosen tech which is blind to the subject line. We’ve spent 40 years developing e-mail and yet some folks still haven’t made it all the way across square one .

I was going to say “And they don’t even warn you about this”* but if I was that inadequate then I would be ashamed to admit it in public too.

*You have though, and thanks for that.

the tech is more than capable and can be used that way, it handles support/service desk tickets where the ticket number in the subject line is used to associate it with an incident in the ticketing system.

The problem is customers not understanding their requirements and blindly insisting a system is implemented their way.

Tech tends to be good but customers are fuckwits.

I’m probably overly-attached to books, so this really fucking irks

Somewhere off screen there is a coyote and an acme box that the robot came in.

the way the robot was correcting itself at high speed in that second video was pretty impressive though

They get more like us every day
