From what I know of Japanese culture, there’s nothing terribly weird in that photo. The outfit seems relatively prevalent, and shibari is a well established discipline too.

Doing a bit of a seasonal wardrobe change and I’ve just opened a drawer that turned out to contain no fewer than 22 pocket squares. I don’t even remember buying half of them.
Roughly 2008-2018 is starting to feel like a bit of a blur, but I clearly found some pretty inventive ways of spending money.
When the fuck did I buy a silk scarf? It’s like some kind of Snoopy Red Baron cosplay thing.
I have a nasty feeling there might be a few more bits like this stashed around the house.
