Was browsing YT reviews and apparently the new Merc C43 and C63 are both 4-cylinder jobs. LOL.
Looks like the petrol age is going out with a whimper rather than a bang.
I’ve been considering a C43 not the modern tat, the proper boxy v8 one. They are a steal at the moment and probably only going to increase in price.

Providing you don’t add mileage and pay the really hefty services and maintenance costs. Outside of that, great cars for lairy times

It’s only auto trader games at the moment. I have a couple of respected specialists one of whom takes good care of my current car so I might have a word with them about the potential ruinous nature of them closer to bite the bullet time. To be honest my eye is caught by a different money pit each week. Lexus GSFs are dropping in price rapidly so who knows next week, never mind when I’m actually in a position to change my waggon.
