M&S in store bakery mince pie.

Not bad - certainly better than all their boxes ones. Nice pastry although the filling is slightly on the sweet side a solid 7/10.

Tbf it does need to be fresh out the bakery oven for maximum taste but even after a couple of days itā€™s still quite moist.

I shall endeavour to get some freshly made for me in work on Friday.

It is a bit but thatā€™s maybe down to some over enthusiastic sugaring by the bakery.

When doing so the war cry of: ā€˜short crust you bastardsā€™ may help them in the future? Just to be sure wreck all the little star cutters. Youā€™ll have a clear 90 seconds before security arrive so focus and action are key.
