As per title, it seems that the Ortofon 2M Bronze is on Back Order with no dates given.

Any recommendations for new cartridges in the £300 price range?

Nag MP-200.

It’ll fit fine and doesn’t need a spacer. It is more fiddly than the Ortofon as the body isn’t threaded but it’s not too tricky.

I’ve got a Nag 110 on my pub turntable, had all of the above here at one point and they’re all excellent vfm :+1:

Currently have a Nag200. For me, it is the best for the money.

Have an mp11 gold,mp20 and a mp200. All very good

Hi, like everyone else in this thread, I’ve also got a Nag (an MP150) on my record player.

Hello all! Thank you very much for your recommendations. I was on the point of giving up and pulling the trigger on one of the recommendations above when I got a telephone call yesterday…

I’m very impressed with the Ortofon 2M Bronze; hearing new details on records I thought I knew well.

Lost the hardness in the treble that was beginning to grate too! :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:

So you fancied a 2M Bronze but you came on here seeking advice on alternatives. The word according to AA was Nagaoka. You ignored the advice and went with your original choice. Well played Stu. This is the AA way.
