Are spare decals in kits still a thing ?
Me too.
Frustrating as hell when something like that happens.
Can you paint some blood and feathers and pass it off as a bird-strike?
I was thinking write it off as patina
Dumm as I am, I though that was the intent at first
Nope. I have properly fucked it up.
It can be rescued with care. But I’m just going to park it for now as I’ve lost my mojo on this one.
I thought it was a prediction of a map of central and South America with Panama and Columbia bombed to fck.
Irksome
Funny you should say that as I thought the other side could be a map of Australia
Not sure this is the right place for this, but here goes …
My niece gets paid for making hats, including theatre costume stuff. She’s got the job of producing ‘a headpiece’ which will basically be a model of a stretch of road with four or five vehicles (cars and at least one Sprinter-like van) on. She reckons the road can be made easily enough out of Worbla (yup, I’d never heard of it either) but she’s looking for a source for the vehicles and wondered whether any of you guys might know of one. She’s prepared to paint them if necessary.
She wants the cars to be roughly 7cm long and all the vehicles to be light in weight which I think means plastic rather than die-cast. My first thought was to suggest trawling actual toy shops - maybe the cheaper the better (pound shops even ?). But if there was an online source that would be easier.
Any thoughts ?
Plastic so should be easy to paint
