Gotta wonder where the boundary between model and attack-drone is?
Prolly depends how much C4 you cram in there… ![]()

Kherson.
That is brilliant but totally insane.
Got lost in the drone
Jeez. Amazing speed!
This one has take ages. Probably 6 months of faff on and off and lost motivation at times. 1/72 Italeri (actually Academy) P38J with a ton of after market stuff. Done as Miss Ann in PRU blue and black underneath.
Models like this are difficult to get aligned. Chapeau.
Nice!
I keep meaning to do (I.e add it to the already unachievably long list of want to do stuff) a triptych of RAF Lightnings, starting with the P38, that the RAF specified without contra rotating engines or turbosuperchargers, which royally screwed it up, through the EE and to the current F35
looked at the pics and assumed it was 1/32!
As has already been said: chapeau - esp. for getting that much detailing to look good at that scale!
Yeah, that’s kind of what inspired me - I did the EE Lighting F2A, then the F-35B and figured I’d do the P-38J.
Not sure what’s next though - maybe another go at the Skyray I fucked up.
That’s really cool. One of my favourite WWII warbirds. Nice job ![]()
First model in around 20 years, a Tamiya British light utility car in 1/35.
Thankfully my Iwata airbrush was stored well but I’m having to buy stuff as needed, file sticks, tweezers etc.
so far I have the chassis and driving compartment done.
I’ve not tried weathering before so thought I’d give it a go, just a pin wash to add some lowlights and pick out some panel detail. Done this early in the build as one complete the driver and cargo compartments will be awkward to get at. These had a gloss clear coat applied first to help flow. The chassis was pin washed direct on the matte paint, I’m happy with the result.
All of my Matchbox and Hot Wheels ended-up looking like the ‘before’ pic ![]()
Obligatory: “I had that car, too” except it was purple ![]()
Corgi Rockets were generally faster than Hot Wheels, down my track anyway. I did have a couple of very quick Matchbox cars as well iirc.
I like that it was done as a restomod. The lowering and fender flairs were genius, and the fade paint job is pretty sweet
