The right wing media and the Tory grass roots will lap that shite up.

This corrupt government has pissed away billions on dodgy PPE and contracts for their mates and their first thought is how to get the poorest people in our society to pay for it. First order of business was to cut the £20 pw UC uplift and now this. Their callousness knows no bounds.

and they intend to recruit 2000 new staff to do it, on the back of announcing 90000 redundancies in the Civil Service. I know other departments are being offered current DWP civil servants due to current cuts in the DWP, go figure.

Obviously the 2000 extra staff will belong to a service provider from the private sector, they’ll never miss an opportunity to line the pockets of their mates and future employers.

The thing is, once Scotland leaves the Union, the rUK will be Tory forever. I just don’t get it, who votes for these people?

I can understand voting for the party that makes you better off. I disagree with it, but I understand why people might do that. But voting for a party that makes you worse off, and is fucking evil to almost everyone - why would anyone do that? I’m not even close to understanding.

… and ex-Chair of the National Young Conservatives, albeit winning on a moderate ticket against strong right-wing opposition.

Just remember to vote for the party most likely to defeat the sitting Tory in your constituency, that’s quite literally all you can do this side of campaigning yourself.

Indeed, the tactiical choice in Lewes is Lib Dem.
Norman Baker lost the seat in 2015. Used to see him around the (New and sh) record shops of Brighton and Lewes.
When I asked the removal company I used how they were going to move my records they told me they had exactly the right size boxes as they had moved Norman Baker’s collection twice!

Murdoch could have Boris out in less than a month.
