The only glimmer is that nearly all these Uber rich families are totally miserable fighting with each other and many seem to have quite a few tragedies to deal with. My heart bleeds
The whole thing stinks. Officers from another police force should be brought in to double check that everything is 100% kosher. The public has very little faith in the Met at this juncture.

No 10 always argued it was work and Carrie was entitled to be there because she lives there. I guess no invites were sent out, including to interior designers.
It’d be interesting to know if anyone else at that event got an FPN. Actually it’d be interesting to know if that generally happened - at any given event were some penalised and others not, or were whole events simply declared ‘outside the rules’ and everyone present got fined ?
Unfortunately the principle with FPNs seems to be “Justice must be done, but the public must be prevented from seeing whether it’s been done.”.
The word you’re looking for is “Corruption”…

There was a period when the law was so badly written that the host of the party got off while anyone attending got fined.
Same in our organisation which is why we are ignoring politicians, that and the fact we are an Agency which means the Minister has no direct operational control. There are 200 civil service agencies.
