....more armchair politics (Part 1)

I do like the irony of the Grauniad criticising grammar though

I’m sure you’re right.

In recent discussions with friends, it has emerged that we are all very concerned about the capping of bankers’ bonuses since the financial crash. It is simply unconscionable that their earnings are being restricted in such a cruel fashion. In fact, a friend of a friend was complaining that he may only be making one visit to Verbier this winter.

Brilliant. The Tories can’t be shocked, she didn’t even have the majority support of her own MPs nor of those party members eligible to vote.

This Government is as close to a Tin pot dictatorship as it is possible to get in our sham of a democracy.

First test will be a by election when Rosie Cooper stands down.
West Lancs is a safe Labour seat but it will be interesting to see what happens to the Tory vote

I’m looking forward to ‘shatupon’

I had to do.a double take; Trussbot looks a lot like Laura K off of the telly!

Perhaps the make-over is supposed to convince people she can be trusted ? She went through something of a Margaret Thatcher lookalike phase too

Moving into ‘Historian’ vibe now

She is brilliant but I’ve never seen more than a few MPs in the chamber when she speaks, not that the Torys would take any notice, let alone have the decency to look embarrassed, at what she says

Every fucking time. These bastards are so cruel.

‘The high number of vacancies is limiting growth…’

Maybe if you hadn’t blamed Eastern European workers for everything they wouldn’t have left

Yep with brexit, scaring off seasonal workers, “foreigners” and zero hours contracts the stupid cunts approach is to make those on benefits work harder

Chancellor Mr Kwarteng said: “While unemployment is at is at its lowest rate for nearly fifty years, the high number of vacancies that still exist and inactivity in the labour market is limiting economic growth.”

Cut taxes for the affluent and for big business.
Remove the cap on bankers’ bonuses.
Allow the energy companies to keep their obscenely large and unearned excess profits.

In order to offset the costs of these essential measures to stimulate growth, these evil Tory geniuses are going to target and sanction part time workers on UC in the middle of the worst cost of living crisis for a generation. Seems completely fair.
