Am slightly surprised that nobody has obviously done a Downfall meme on Sunak yet.
Stuff going around on Twitter that there are non-crank analysts genuinely considering if this could be the first election ever where the sitting PM quits before polling day.
Worth putting this into context:
The Tories had an 80 (Eight-Zero) majority in 2019.

Then, in a fever dream I had, some fucking lunatic bird and her comedy chancellor crashed the entire UK economy in 40 days, then a semi sentient robot AI took over, did some bad PR where we discovered he didn’t know how to pay for goods and services, didn’t know how a hammer worked (or in hindsight, possibly what a hammer is), or what a “Wales” is. Meanwhile all Boris Johnsons turds are still floating around and 84.7% of the cabinet are auditioning for the BNP.

Yeah well, meh. 
I note the first of what I suspect will be several Reform candidates who turn out to be a bit fash has broken cover. Ian Gribbin has said that the country would be “far better” if it had “taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality” instead of fighting the Nazis in WW2 and that women were the “sponging gender” and should be “deprived of health care”.
And yes, he looks exactly like you thought he would;
