Six months in to the Parliament the left wing of the Labour Party (say 60 seats) are not going to be very happy with the lack of progress on social issues.
The LibDems with also say 60 seats and a much more left wing manifesto than Labour are in opposition and could form a loose coalition with the Labour internal ‘opposition’ and become a major pressure group.
The Conservatives of course will still be soiling themselves in the corner.

Luckily the polling station is 100m from the house so I can vote at 0700 but I know it’s pointless as Braverman will likely win still 
There are plenty to the left of Starmer.
He can’t keep all of them in the cabinet like Rayner. There are only so many ministerial jobs to go round. So there will be plenty looking to push policy leftward in the same way that the ERG did for the right
Starmer will have a big enough majority that they won’t stop business going through but they will get more vocal.
Next years March/April budget could be a critical time, especially if there hasn’t been the growth they were expecting

There is also an argument that with the rise of the Right in France and instability in other areas of Europe, the mayhem in the US if Trump gets in again, the UK, with a stable (large majority) centrist government with ‘sensible’ fiscal rules suddenly becomes a safe looking bet for foreign investment,
Expect loads of recounts if the result is within a few hundred votes in the seat especially because of the postal vote issue. Announcements could be delayed by hours

That postal vote one is interesting. Is it a hard deadline for delivery to the returning officer? If so, just going to be tough luck if the post office was late with delivery, even if the cause was the short notice given by the Government for the election. I wonder if most postal votes are non Tory.
6 weeks is plenty of notice and is the same period of time given by all governments for all elections.
This government did not give short notice this time, they followed the constitutional arrangements
I received my postal ballot in plenty of time and it was sent back last week so I don’t think this is a nationwide issue but certainly will be used by candidates in close results.
