....more armchair politics (Part 2)

Reiterating what’s already been said: they have to try to put right 14 years of increasingly disastrous tory rule.

Those disasters were not limited to incompetence and neglect, a good deal of what was done was deliberately designed to be difficult or impossible to undo. A huge amount will have been hidden beyond public scrutiny.

They don’t have magic wands, they also don’t have any money - they have a gigantic amount of debt, a crumbling economy, and uncountable thousands of equally worthy calls on resources.

Then, some nasty, spiteful, evil cunts provoked a minor insurrection just to help make matters worse.

You don’t appear to have much grasp upon reality - they’ve been in power SIX WEEKS - what you’re demanding is a literal miracle!

I see the online right wing fucknuggets are adding a disclaimer to all their posts which essentially says “not intentionally racist”.

They may be in for a shock in a Court.

Thanks, I missed that one.

I was looking for info on the government plans, not for solutions being implemented and problems solved in six weeks  .

Here’s clearly an advantage of FPTP having a majority to set plans in a few weeks, as opposed to PR in NL with a hung parliament that took 223 days this time to come to an agreement to form a government.

Not in our system anymore. Power is now concentrated in No10 with few effective checks and balances. We end up with a minority implementing policies that the majority disagree with.

A monumentally stupid woman tries and fails to defend her position that a possible ban on smoking in beer gardens is analogous to the rise of the Nazis.

I would have had it moved too!
It is bad enough having her statue in the members lobby at the Palace of Westminster

If they want to have even a pretence of discipline she should be expelled from the Conservative party.
