It is now over a month since I did a big shop. No desire to go to Lerwick to be rationed to 2 or 3 items of any product, so been using our *local shop to delay the need to seek the disappointment of going to Tesco.
*probably got more stock than Tesco anyway…
Pasta, rice and tinned goods
Bog rolls AND Paracetamol

One of the guys that helped move the organ yesterday told me he will definitely keep me stocked with eggs all summer. No charge.
I’ll certainly get free lamb and mutton later in the year and as much fresh salmon as I can eat. Mackerel too, in season.
I think one of my neighbours will be killing some pigs in the near future, I’ll definitely buy half of one for the freezer, once they are butchered.
