Seeing Chris Whitty on the TV last night and googling him to see if he was “that” Chris Whitty.
It’s so odd how specific some memories can be - walking up to the final dress rehearsal of the choral society’s “Messiah” at the end of term, and it going round that the Whitty brothers had been fetched out because their father had been murdered / assassinated in Greece.
These days I have no idea how to decline Latin verbs, but that one seems to have stuck hard.
