Didn’t seem worth starting a thread, but has anyone got 1 or 2 ove those 5 pin din to rca female things so I can use my own cable, there are some on ebay but look a bit shit
Also need a 4pin din to male rca for pre/power

I’ve got a couple of Flashback premium (or somesuchlike) Quad cables, but I can’t remember what connectors they have.
I’ll dig them out tomorrow and let you know.

Remarkably similar in size, if not quite as well appointed, although I’m sure if you spent the £5,25m change on it, it would be even better…

How real world accessible is that, for supplies and things Paul ?
You would need a boat, but it’s a very short trip to the Mainland across a sheltered bay. You would need a car that you would have to leave on the Mainland for shopping etc. I would think your letters/parcels would get left at the nearest shop to collect.
If I had £1m to spare I would be well up for it!

Not sure I’ll get that far north, might do Liverpool, hang a right towards east anglia, via London and maybe down to Broadstairs, and along the coast back to Devon
Need to list some bits to make it worthwhile.

Shetland is famous for birds. Around here the birds park up on our chimney and ridge tiles. Their departure flight path can take them over the roof and they commonly execute a waste dump very shortly after take-off. Is the idea that bird poop in your water is a feature of island life or is there some trick for getting them to drop their cack somewhere else ?
