That P1800’s a nice thing - should be on the other thread, methinks :heart_eyes:

I’ve just learned of the existence of the McMurtry Spéirling Pure.

Let’s deal with the good bits first;
It’s zero emission
It has a fan creating 2,000kg of downforce at speed
It did the Goodwood Hillclimb in under 40 seconds
It’s made in the UK using F1 technology.

Now, the less good bit;

With prices starting (starting) at £820,000, it is indisputably the most expensive clown car ever made.

The carwow video is good too for the sub 2s 0-60s

Impressive stats but makes a GMA T.33 look like exceptionally good value to me!

That’s not a low-rider, THIS is a low-rider:

I had somehow passed me by what an absolute abomination the 3rd generation Mustang was :nauseated_face:

Did someone at Longbridge design that? :nauseated_face:

Do want!

By all accounts self made by the owner from 2 90s and half a 110.

I would never have guessed if you hadn’t told me.

Different strokes I guess, I love Fox body Mustangs :slightly_smiling_face: They were massively supported by the aftermarket so there’s all kinds of go fast shit for them.
Really like the Mercury Capri version with the glass fastback, but never seen anymore

There’s a shop by my workplace that builds/repairs low riders. Not my cup of tea, but the dedication and money that goes into some of them is impressive

I read you. I don’t think I’d ever own one - well, dropped, maybe, proper lowrider - not so much, but I love the creations. Many of them are downright creative works of art, and the culture is pretty cool too - not so dominated by white boomers as some parts of US custom culture :ok_hand:
