The Rover V8 might be a bit of a give away
The more you look at these the more the Zuckerbots are going to send them to you
You’re just jealous
Yes, true. Jealous of how much idle time you have
It’s a bitch
As long as you’re putting it to good use!
He has a massive forearm
Cars you wished were put into production.
I give you the 1960 Plymouth XNR
This concept was Plymouth’s answer to the Corvette, and it was gorgeous, with an asymmetric design that featured a dorsal fin that extended from just behind the driver’s head to the trailing edge of the car.
Legendary Chrysler Corporation design chief Virgil Exner had a passion for sports cars. Attempting to inspire a production model, he designed a series of brilliant concepts that, one after another, failed to win approval from company executives.
The XNR was Exner’s last concept car for Chrysler as he was forced to retire in 1962. Like most Chrysler concepts, it was sold overseas after its show car career ended. After changing hands a few times, it rode out the Lebanese civil war hidden in a basement, later emerging to be fully restored and win the Gran Turismo trophy at the prestigious 2011 Pebble Beach Concours. It sold for a little under a million at auction in 2012.
Looks kinda likey a really bad angular homage to a D type.
Have moved it into the correct thread for you.
Half a red Batmobile.
This angle is pretty cool;
Absolutely every other angle is a fucking horror show. It looks like the result of a sexual liaison between a J40 pedal car and a blood clot.
Lose the dorsal fin, move the hood scoop, lose the tumours on the front fenders.
Like the grille and headlights, a lot of Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouths from the 60s had that look
That 1960 Plymouth XNR is very, very far from one of those.
reminds me of the Subaru logo.
A proper luxury ‘Ute’ right here!
You know you want it:
I do, and I’m only £149,900 short
