The overall design I don’t mind, what looks terrible is the 1st year design student quality renders, especially this one where the perspective just looks off, and if its a squashed image. Just looks rushed and cheap.
Where as this has nice realistic surface textures, good lighting etc.
At the end of the day, it’s a concept so only an ‘inspiration’ for the production model that has suspension travel etc.
As a piece of concept and a digital mock up it does look very unfinished, both in terms of design detail and graphical finish.
My big question is this - it’s a bold statement electric vehicle, so precisely what does Jerry McGovern expect actual buyers of the translated production car to do with the massive space under the bonnet?
As a piece of design it looks very very dated if anything and begs far more questions than it answers.
