After watching many documentaries about the Shetlands, yesterdays one finally mentioned Fetlar!
(Although it was mostly wildlife on Unst) Really fascinating surroundings there, but we all knew that already

Using a 32mm forstner bit on the drill press bored a very clean hole through the armboard. Now set up (some suspension fine tuning to do) and with an FR702.
All I can say is that it is grin inducing!

I’m (very slowly) working towards that combo on my Voyd, so would love a bit of encouragement to speed my progress with the new arm board, case for the Slagle SUT etc that will eventually enable it…

Ah - I’ve been planning on using a graphite head shell (bought from @ciderpig) which may make that worse too …
If it’s an Io1 you might just be ok. Not as heavy as a Gold
… although it’s an Io1 which does weigh a bit less than a Gold. I’ll try it before despairing

I have used an IO1 with an FR64fx and FR64s without needing an extra mass counterweight, however it is much lighter than than the gold

Yeah, I could have just about got away with it for the Gold, but the standard counterweight would have been nearly hanging off the end of the arm tube!
With the heavy c/w it is close to the pivot, which I much prefer.
