Just read that Algy Ward has died aged 63 - played bass on my favourite Damned album, Machine Gun Etiquette, before that he was with The Saints, and after formed Metal band, Tank.

Machine Gun Etiquette was the soundtrack to my mid-teens and I saw them Christmas '79 on that tour. RIP Algy.
