Eric Dane, 53.
He was Jason Dene in ‘Charmed’, starred in ‘Euphoria’, and as Dr. Mark Sloan in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, among many other things.
He married to Rebecca Gayheart in 2004; she was a starring actress in her own right.
Eric was diagnosed with ALS - amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) - last April, having initially experienced weakness in his right hand which he attributed to texting too much. ALS is the most common form of Motor Neurone Disease, is degenerative, and there is (currently) no known cure.
Ross The Boss of Manowar was also recently diagnosed with the same thing.

Just seen an interesting fact. Neil Sedaka died yesterday. In the 1970s he recorded Love Will Keep Us Together at Strawberry Studios in Stockport. In 1980 Joy Division recorded Love Will Tear Us Apart … in the same room.
