In my defence, I was press ganged into it.
Congratulations. Enjoy your ban.
Enough about your onlyfans.
In the far north of Scotland, where in my youth olive oil came in small bottles from the chemist, we have to adopt the attitude of “as good as it gets.
Again with the Onlyfans. I presume you’re enjoying yourself over there?
No idea mate. Looking for tips from the experienced.
Not just the North Of Scotland, I remember Raymond Blanc saying that when he first came to London he asked where he could buy Olive Oil and he was directed to a chemist.
Centrifuging Vs cold pressing?
Right, going to give some high polyphenol stuff a go and this seems to measure very high so will get some in:
I’m sure it will be very nice but at ~£40/litre I would want it rubbed all over me by this masseuse AND a happy ending.
Yes, that would be great but that’s what the polyphenols are doing to your insides!
The plan with this is a tablespoon per day. I mainly just take it off the spoon.
This is probably easier on the wallet and still measures fairly high:
Might get a subscription. Still trying to decide.
For that moo I’d be taking summit else off the spoon.
Went for 3L of this one. Still fairly pricey but a nice polyphenol content.
I take the point that freshness is key. But, you can get good quality oils in TK Maxx / Home sense at good prices. FYI.
It’s the polyphenol content I’m looking for. This will keep for quite a time as far as I know, I’m not buying for taste.
Sure, they have all kinds of exotic stuff in TK Maxx. It is of course pot luck what they have on any given day but my wife gets all of ours from there. We often then see the same stuff in a deli at 3x the price.
I can check them online but I don’t even know where they have a store anymore to be honest. Will check anyway.
I’m only just looking into this now.
I better not find it cheap as chips on their site.
We bought a terrific tasting greek one from a Greek man at a food fair one year. No label on the bottle. It appeared to be a small production from a contact of his in Greece. Bought it again from him the next year, it didn’t have anywhere like the same level of flavour.
Likewise, a friends father has a place in Spain and sent us some of his oil from his Olive trees, it tasted superb. When I saw him I told him how good it was in the hope he’d send more. The following year he sent me another bottle, this time with a label he’d had printed. It was nowhere near as nice. I don’t put this down to the label. I think it might have not been as fresh hence the drop off in flavour.
Still probably good stuff though. I don’t doubt the flavour will likely change with time.
