Little slow getting onboard with this, but I had the fun of pushing it over the line

It looks like they’re picking up donations en route too Micky.

Good work !

Jame’s wife and a friend are back up crew as their vehicle needs to be at Inverness for the finish ..The lads are sleeping in a tent enduring cold conditions (Friday morning the tent was frozen ). The girls are in B& B I think ..Like all fundraising events obviously they are trying to raise as much as they can as well as showing public awareness to Parkinson’s.The girls are taking donations in a bucket along the way ..Not sure where they are or how far from James and Graham ..
The winds across the Lochs etc are proving to be challenging but I’m confident that their fitness and determination will see them through …
The fund has passed it’s suggested total of what they had hoped to raise and a BIG THANK YOU too all of you who have donated so far …
Bestest Micky

See map 3

Just seen this thread Micky. I’ll stump up as soon as I figure out the details. Might need to scroll up a bit. Fair play to all concerned for the effort. Paddling Lough Ness in the dark is above and beyond the call of duty.

EDIT: Done now…

I got a text this morning from Graham ..They couldn’t find anyway to pull over to pitch the tent last night ..That’s why they carried on ..Anyway they got to the end of Loch Ness ..They now have 7 miles left to complete today ..

A tragic end to a wonderful achievement.

Regardless, well done all.

Graham and James has asked me to relay their thanks for your donations..Their efforts raised more than £3000 which was well above their target ..They arrived back on Teesside last night around 6.30 tired but really chuffed that they did it ..Anyone wishing to follow their route you can by the link below ..it clearly shows how the wind slowed them down on the first day ..Thanks to you all Micky
