I would’ve thought the onboard phono on that should be really good, surely? Sugden aren’t known for skimping on such things. You’ll better it, of course, if you spend enough, but I doubt you will for cheap.

What yours as well, loud crack from the right channel and then mine died. Better get mine in before you do. Sugden aren’t known for raising a gallop, but good service and an almost new unit on return.
Mine’s a balance issue. One or other channel drops out and a few quick spins of the balance pot or a sharp blip of the volume control clears it, until next time
