A friend has recently returned from a voyage to Antarctica on board the Europa. I look forward to seeing her photos, but she has recommended a look at those from the onboard guide Richard Simko. I can only agree.

Some great images there. :+1: If your friend is anything like me, it could be a long haul looking at her pics. I took over 3,500 when I did a similar trip.

South Georgia is nothing short of spectacular.

Love some of those docklands shots particularly the pubs. Was this just one walk? What route did you take?

Awesome sense of scale in that picture, which is often difficult to achieve when snapping tornadoes, it seems.

Can you imagine seeing that thing thundering towards you? Bloody scary shit that is.

I would like to get up close to a tornado, but not too close!
