Pick me a Scooby (that went RONG) including exploration into Dacia & giving up

Staying at a mate’s place in Shropshire this weekend. He has a Scooby wrx sti 330. It is very fast, but the ride is ridiculously hard - makes my pork seem like a limo.

Meh, you haven’t been in his Scooby! :grimacing:

Legacy went in for a timing belt etc. today, and while they were at it I asked them to check the front right corner as it felt a bit odd going over to Edds and Paul’s yesterday, turns out it has a broken spring :sleepy:.
Okay, these things happen…but trying to get a spring at the moment is proving difficult, they are on back order…

Timing belt, cripes I hope that the price has dropped, my Legacy 60k service was the thick end of £1300 at the local stealer☹️

Eek! This is an independent I have used for years and trust. One of the mechanics Pete has a Subaru track day car himself, so hopefully I’m in good hands.

Did you not get a price first?

300 Quid or so.
