First big mileage on the Legacy since buying it, tripping down to Devon, around the lanes down there and back home again. I have to say its been a pleasure to drive and get to know it.
The traction around the tight hairpins, 90’s and general stability on the motorway in shitty conditions have been very enjoyable and impressive.
The average MPG has been better than expected at around 40, and all our stuff fitted in it.

40? You are driving it wrong. If I pushed it I used to get single digit mpg :grimacing:

It might have dropped a bit lower than that on the twisty bits…

Flippin eck!

Just checked this morning and it’s actually 38.5mpg, but that includes a lot of tight twisty 1st/2nd gear start/stop bits and motorway driving.
Still ok.

Passed its MOT this morning thankfully. Got it in early as it’s due in January.

So the upgraded turbo wasn’t a problem, then?

They didn’t seem to notice it, funny what brown envelopes changing hands seem to do isn’t it?

You remembered to put ‘PPE’ on the label then ?
