Kate has forgotten already

System upstairs sounded good on some cello stuff (Bach?):+1:.

Lovely little very well made tuner hidden under there too.

Love those aiwa and Aurex little systems of the 80s

It’s really well-made (mini) kit, and sounds great too - must get it plumbed-in and working again!

Well spotted - I am thinking Rob missed his calling, he is seeing things no-one else does - he should have gone into crime scene investigations!

Hi Paul, sorry I missed the fun. We had some (not immediate) family issues, all a bit of a storm in a teacup really. I thought I had messaged you on Saturday, but it appears I didn’t, it looks like I missed a great wing dang :+1:

It’s a bit like Scalford when you get home and realize you’ve somehow missed half the rooms….

Won a set of the aiwa ones years ago with pre/power/tuner/cass deck. Was after the rogers speakers at auction, and it can with the aiwa in its rack. Should of kept it as a kitchen system with a squeezebox

Just so long as you and yours are OK mate is all that matters :+1:

It was mainly there in case people rolled-up with a load of kit they wanted to roll, or music they couldn’t play downstairs. Sam’s enjoying having the second system together, so it’ll be there next time you can make it :+1:

I finally woke-up at 2pm this afternoon today - I think I may be getting old, 'cause I was knackered after all the B/O prep, cooking, cleaning, flidherding, &c! :joy: Even Sam was up before me today!
