lovely food, portions a bit small (but I’m a pig), but a different and nice night out - recommended. Be nice in the summer when it’s still light outside

they were delicious with the burger made with chorizo and chilli paste
Tasty all round.
Last night we were taken out to dinner by friends to a local pub (which we frequent).
I had Pigeon breast on black pudding and celeriac mash, followed by veal escalopes served with Dauphinoise and “heritage” carrots.
The food was superb and service great. No photos taken as we were too deep in conversation.
@MrKettle bought these chelsea bun inspired pizza twists to Nick’s bake.
Pizza dough with proscuto crudo, mozzerella and passata. Fucking yum

potato starch crisps! the rendered beef fat was dribbled over as a dressing. I have to say, it’s the most beefy beef thing I have eaten
