Pork Faff Therapy/ What are you eating?

That’s the great thing about daal and lots of Indian food in general, there isn’t a Western idea of a ‘classic’ definition of a dish and its open to endless variation, largely driven by the needs of what ingredients and spices that you happen to have.

I thought the daal and everything else you did on Saturday was excellent Wayne. :+1:

Quite Keralan/south Indian by the look of it.

Adding curry leaves and grated coconut is a common feature of Keralan daal and easy to do at the end.

Narelle’s Birthday tomorrow but I have to work, so she wanted to go to the 6 Bells in Thame. First decent food I’d had in a couple of days…

Brown Crab Arancini

Salt & Pepper Squid

After a weekend of endless meat injection and the reminder from Wayne today something different was called for:
A risotto comprising of mange tout, pea, broad bean and asparagus.

All that looks top notch fellas.

Ikea home bake

Egg rolls. Store bought wraps (don’t want the faff) filled with ground pork, garlic, spring onion, shitake mushroom, shredded cabbage and carrot, sriracha, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, and a touch of sugar. Simple but tasty :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks great.

Fruit and Fibre, because I’m just so rock and roll.

I’m assuming it’s some sort of amusing dessert presentation, but why does it look like a hotdog with toothpaste on it?
