Pork Faff Therapy/ What are you eating?

You better tell Kurt to have a more thorough wash, before you ingest his sour salty balls

Braised steak cooked in beef stock, garlic & caramelised onions. Served with mashed spuds.

Tastes bloody lovely.

The fish looks tremendous.

best bit of Pollock this side of Lands End. Batter was crispy, just perfect.

To be fair, there isn’t much competition that side of Lands End until you get to the Azores :grinning:

High Tide on St Agnes is very good :+1:

Is that the cafe?

I think we just went to the Troytown Ice Cream place which had some lovely stuff.

Yes, just below Coastguards. Tristan runs the place and the food is lovely.

Troytown ice cream is lovely too

This was a remarkable pie.

Apart from the flour to make the pastry top, everything on the plate came from the farm adjacent to The Little Arthur Cafe. The wine for braising the beef (also from the farm), came from the vineyard on the other side of island.

All the veg came out of the ground this morning.

we’ve eaten in many top notch places, but sometimes the simplest nosh, really makes its mark

Very nice, but that’s not a pie, it’s a bowl of steak with pastry on top.

A pie has pastry sides and base
