Pork scratchings

Back looks like a Lotus

That’s a Carrera GT, not the prettiest, but a bloody wonderful drive… Apparently…

Can you not borrow one for the day and let us know?

I wish!

I did get to drive one about 12 years ago. Epic ! I did nearly stick it into a Suffolk hedge though the first time I applied a little throttle.
I drove an M5 that same day. I’m not sure which was the better car (for me) of the two

You are so an M5 driver darling.

Nein !

exciting news… got a build date for the Macan Turbo of December 20th …hope they aren’t all pissed up on beer getting ready for Christmas when my one comes along the line. Going to have to lock down the spec next week,…

Oh dear :grimacing:

Seriously swap for a later build. I’ve been in car manufacturing plants all over the world for over ten years, you don’t want a Christmas car. Last time I went to a German factory they had ice cold beer machines right next to the production line :scream:

May I suggest 3rd week in January onwards.

That looks Matchbox

A photo of a photo of my old car from when I was in Amsterdam, and had more money.

1985 Carerra 3.2 Targa.

Bloody lovely car that was.

Will have to scan it properly.

And a pic of a grinning buffoon in the drivers seat.

Haha, that’s great!

Should’ve kept it, would be worth a fortune now!

I know. I paid around £10k for it in 2001ish from a company that importe them from Switzerland. It was pretty mint.
Prices have gone nuts now. Would love another aircooled one.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Seeing as I mostly drove it in Holland it was better on that side.

Could be a bit of a pain sometimes on trips to the UK.

It’s a bit weird if you ask me.
