I had a big one of these (makes a change from tennis girl scratching her arse)

I wonder what happened to it.

If you left it at your mum’s, it’s probably in the same place as my signed Siouxsie & The Banshees tour poster, like this one but for Liverpool Royal Court:

Ditto New Order Low Life poster, also signed.

And a really nice Cure promo for The Head on The Door.

I’m guessing that your mum binned everything.

Mine sold anything I left lying around, because gimlet-eyed bumpkins, money is an end in itself.

Same. Mine had my dad bury my pushbike on a building site he was working-on so she could fraudulently claim on the insurance… I’d only just moved-out and had nowhere to keep it in the slum I lived in but needed it for my job once I was no longer a bus-ride away from my workplace. Couldn’t afford to replace it. All the rest of my stuff was sold or thrown. She hated the woman I’d taken-up with and my choice of job, so this was an outlet for her thwart-rage…

There’s a colour version as well, but I prefer the pen & ink

Still love this one

Yep, that’s a beauty. All his illustrations of old-time blues, country, and jazz musicians are excellent. The trading card series are particularly nice . . .

Heroes of the Blues . . .

Pioneers of Country . . .

Early Jazz Greats . . .

I think the 17 year old me bought this when it came out as much for the cover as anything else

Going off topic, I always “could listen to” The Dead, but I’ve gone through a recent reappraisal and become a big fan.
They do some great covers of blues/country/Americana/rock&roll classics. And Jerry Garcia is a great guitarist.
