We played Bob’s copy at Lopwell, it sounded fantastic.
Didn’t I also play some of it at the Settle gathering?
Indeed, the only tape I own. Down to just the one R2R now, the Revox PR99 2 channel.
Errmmm, can’t remember too much of Settle… Apart from my curried goat disaster 
Oh, and the Rohypnocello, which might explain the former, the latter was entirely down to me.
Still think @crimsondonkey s LA Woman is the best R2R I’ve heard so far.
Ooooh, that would have been amazing through @octh s Revox speakers…

What was wrong with it?
I accidentally left it on the gas all day on the Friday while I went to work and it reduced by approx 3/4, with approximately an inch of crust on the base of the pan… 
I had to improvise at Settle to make it go around, but it was nowhere near as good as it was first thing Friday morning, when it was lush. I can’t believe I decided to fuck about with it when it was going to have to go on the hob at Settle anyway.
I knew that bit, but it still tasted good to me
