Resin-bonded gravel paving

Yep, the quote today includes digging out to a depth of 300mm, back filling with compacted hardcore topped by type 3, then a 30mm layer of asphalt, topped with the 25mm facing of bound resin. So that seems pretty comprehensive.

1 A nice drive will add nothing to your house price

2 Do you actually need a multi car drive? Last time I checked you were a one car family with that not looking like changing!

Yes, I did say as much up thread, but the Mrs is fed up of having the front looking a bit shit, little stones in her car footwell and having to keep sweeping them off the pavement.

Would tarmac be a better option probably cheaper too

If they’re done properly, neither tarmac or concrete would be a huge saving, but they don’t look anywhere near as nice as resin or paviors.

Likely to be shit like most new fads, lift the gravel in sections and put the grid down for about ÂŁ5 a metre, makes the gravel stable and easy to walk on and looks neat too

Worked for me but got the gravel size wrong, should have gone smaller grade so it doesn’t stick in the car tires when we pull off
